I don't think Axeon was a bad person. He just gets selfish and ****y too much. Many people who think he lessens freedom here, also agree that he is a great graphic artist, programmer, author, and funny. He's more like ruining it for himself, because if only he wouldn't be ****y, selfish, and rather rude, he'd be the perfect member.
That's the same way I saw Axeon... I've talked to him in chat before, so I know he's not some... "Bad Person" and excuse me for such a lame explaination, but that's just it. On the forums he DID put people down at every turn. It almost seems as if Axeon and "Axeon in chat" (Won't disclose Real Name) were two completely different people.
All he would ever do in the Forums was argue... But in chat you could actually talk to him.
As for people getting banned, I haven't seen one person get "Banned" for "Just 'cuz". I try to stay out of personal posting wars most of the time, and I usually scare myself if I do argue with someone, because I don't wanna get banned.
Afterlab is right. He gave Axeon MANY more breaks than a normal member should have... He got to come back many times, and he even develuped a nickname "INNTOCCIBILE"... It was getting ridiculus.
How does that set an example for other member? Why follow the rules when someone who breaks them, or is rude, always comes back anyway? What kind of enforcement is that? None, that's what.
So I for one think that Axeon probably should have gotten banned a long time ago... It needed to happen sometime, since he wouldn't be a contributing member.
He WAS a good artist and image designer, and all the things Afterlab mentioned! But, he wasn't a contributing member when it came the to communtiy and posting.
I for one have learned that this should be a lesson to other members... You need to contribute to the greater whole of the forum, not just for yourself.
For newbies and basic members who don't have any realtions with anyone at FFR, then all I can say is follow the rules, they are they for a reason, and it'll be better for everyone if you do so.
I am also sad to see Vac.9 gone... I suppose he just left, because I haven't seen anything that he did to get banned, or heard anything about it 'til now. He was a decent contributing member as far as I'm concerned aswell, but if he felt he needed to leave, then that is his decision.
I'll miss most of you guys who are leaving though, I hope you decide to come back someday, under different circumstances....

Speaking of spam, Raine I believe you know Killak on a more personal level. It seems he doesn't give a rats ass about the warnings of members, I'm wondering if any of the mods/admin gave him a warning yet....
As for the Axeon-issue: meh, I've experienced a 1001 things on online communities, and then I'm only counting the bad-to-horrible things that could happen. I've grown accustomed to not minding offensive or annoying people. Even when they're too stubborn and/or ****y to listen to reason.
Something that not many people in life seem to realize, is that for nearly all things, you are the person that can decide whether something or someone will annoy you. You can choose for yourself not to get annoyed by things, even with things you would consider, at this moment, to be things that "you will always be annoyed by!" - it's up to you, yourself, to _get_ annoyed, not the other way around.
yeah, i think that killiak is the largest spammer we have. even myself and axeon, though we post a lot, we put more than "..." or "uhh..." in our posts. shinigami was banned for this, so why hasn't killiak?
i have a feeling more's gonna happen on this whole thing, from what i've heard, there is more to this than is being said. i'm gonna wait until it's all through to state my opinion.
and this stuff about people getting back in? GS not only registered under a new name to get RP, but tried to frame me by using a similar email. at least he did confess(i assume), but he is 100% OUT of the BDS FOREVER. i don't think that allowing him to return with all his past stuff is a good idea, i think that they should have a 0 for posts, and have "convict" avatars, sigs, and statuses.
