We are all to volitile to each other to be in a live chat. We argue enough as it is in the forums. Although I did have a productive conversation with Vac.9 in AIM chat a few minutes ago...

If more people used it I guess it wouldn't be too bad.

more people should use it. it's quite nice. allows you to talk with the others, whom you might not talk with.

I think anyone who wants to chat should just open it when they login and leave it open. Checking it every few mins. That way you get to use it.

Just close it when you log-out. The chat I was speaking of in my last post is over now. But I still will leave it open until I log off. I just think if everyone did that, it would be nice, 'cause then there would alwayd be people in there to talk with, if the boards aren't doing anything.

Well. I discovered a way to make your chat window flash just like the normal IM window.

1.) Enter Chat.
2.) View > Edit Chat Preferences...
3.) Look to the upper-right (NOT left) corner of the preferences screen and you will see and option that says "Flash Window when messages are received."
4.) Click it so that there is a black check in the white box.
