I personally don't think I'm mod material, I couldn't bare to close people topics and delete things. Also it would seem like a chore to me, especially on these boards... Spam Central... No offense but there is ALOT of it.
I probably counldn't be a mod either, 'cause even though I try to stay on topic most of the time, sometimes I say things that I want to be cleared up in the thread off topic, instead of in a PM...
And when you belong to 4 forums, sometimes you have to neglect some forums for a day or two, and I don't think that would fly if I was a mod or something. But if I was ever offered the job in the furture then I'd definitly skip my other forums (FFR being the best forums I have joined) and be happy to try out a job postition.
Now that I think about it, I might enjoy being a mod of maybe one area of interest. Like ONLY being the mod of say... FF7-9. I don't know, just a thought on what I would do if I was offererd a job. 'Cause I plan on being here for a long time.
I think I joined March 5th, but I'm not sure. Here it is March 9th and I've already got 60 posts...!

It's funny ED, because I figured someone would say that. Those are what I like to call the unwritten rules. You don't see them anywhere, but everyone knows them, or at least should know them.
FFGnome: I too visit a number of forums frequently, and FFR seems to be one of the top forums out there. You know, it almost has vB of the month in its pocket. Mine may be up there next month though...
Enough with the physicalities (that a word? heh...). What really makes a forum are its users and how much they contribute individually and so far, like I said in the beginning of my topic, FFR is truly in overdrive.

| For me, what made afterlab want me as a Super-Mod (I am one of the original ones), was when he just started using vbulletin, instead of UBB, i had already been using vb, so he decided to do it since i already understood pretty well how to use the vb...now look at me, i took a leave of absense and look what happens! Everyone is a vb expert :P |

I think when I've been here 300 posts longer I might apply for something.... I signed up March 5th I think so... Maybe I should say 800 posts from now? 'Cause I've almost got 100 already... heh.
Good luck people,
FFGnome
EDIT: Yep, my profile says 23 posts a day... o_O |

On my forms, post count really has nothing to do with getting modded or for that matter...getting anywhere. Take ED's advice here FFGnome, and I'm sure you'll be up for the job in no time.
