I've just started off with a few tiny little weights to build up my chest and arms, and I was curious to know if we have any other "good" weight lifters on FFR? Right now I've had to borrow an uncle's weights and he just gave me the lightest ones (4KG and 13KG), so they suck big time.

I just lift some stuff in the morning and in the evening. I have 2 8KG weights, but to perform all sort of exercises that is damn enough.

Bah, I don't do it properly but now and then I do few dumbell curls and overhead presses with a couple of 40lb dumbbells. I would do it more often but I'm ****ing lazy and lifting weights tends to get boring fast.

My father was bodybuilder national champion once here, and i'm trying to follow his footsteps, i regularly been doing weight lifting for about 3 years now, so you can say i'm a "good" weight lifter.

I can lift up to 80 KG in the bench press or whatever it is called in english.

Yeah it's the bench press. That's pretty impressive. I'm trying to follow in my uncle's footsteps, even though I have zilch chance. (He would bench press weighs of 190+ KG at the age of 16).

Sometimes I use my two 20KG weights. I go through stages where I could be working out with them all the time one month and doing sit ups and press ups too and then other months I could do nothing. It all depends on what I'm up to and what I can be bothered to do.

I've never really bothered trying to lift anything heavier. My ones arent bench weights, they're just ones you have in each hand. Havnt really got enough space in my room for bench press weights,

I have no idea what I can bench press. Probably not a great deal. I can lift a pretty decent amount normally though, so maybe I could. I used to be incredibly puny, and to be fair I still do look it, but I found this big-ass mother****er of a crowbar one day. I realised - if I do my sword training with that instead of the bokken, I will be l33t. And I am, I can swing pretty much everything with one hand faster than I used to be able to with both.

Oh, I do some stretches as well, or at least I used to. Probably going to start again, they were pretty nifty.

So if you ever get in a fight and you happen to have your old bokken or crowbar handy then you'd own them, but if, by chance, you happen to have left them in your other jacket or something you'd get utterly battered. Take up boxing.
