| I don't think it's funny, at all, to be honest. They probably come from a religeous background, and thus have not been taught about having sex. It's not like it's a rare thing, after all. It happens all of the time, but we don't really hear about it all that often. I think it's sad that they have never been made aware of that. |

That is a little sad, but man, it must have been funny to be the doctors. I bet the people felt really stupid, but i bet it confused the hell out of them too. It must have been a really hard time for them. to be honest it wouldnt have surprised me if it was some 3rd world couple or even a very religious american couple. It jsut doesnt seem like the sort of thing to happen to a german couple though. Meh.
Anyway, this thread would be better off in CDS, its not exactly spam. |

I'm just wholly unable to comprehend how someone could go through thirty years of their life hearing so much about sex (face it, there's no way one could escape the constant references) and not know what it is. Couple that with the fact that you'd expect even humans to have something like instinct and wondering about the questions that would arise if they ever saw each other naked... how is it even possible? If it's actually a real story, it's mind-boggling. I'm told that Germans have mandatory sex education in schools, so I'm suspicious.
But uh, geez. How did they think couples had kids, the stork brought them after marriage or something? Not to mention the fact that illegitimate children are born would have to clue them on to it not being entirely related to marriage. |

| I was never "taught" about sex through religion, it was always from classmates. And at a christian school no-less. It is funny, but just a little far fetched and hard to beleive. |

Aye, another thing this makes you wonder is whether they'd have had any friends... 'cause I learned almost as much about sex from my friends as I did from my parents. |
