simply put, what do you think are the most important aspects of a relationship?
you don't have to make reasons or lists or anything, but feel free to do so  |

| A solid foundation. You need to trust your partner, and actually love him/her. Trust me, relationships based on sex don't work, you need to really understand your partner in order for things to work. Along with that, you must be attracted to them. I've been going 7 months strong now, with my girlfriend. |

| Mmm. Relationships based on sex (solely for having sex) is very nice in theory, but practically, they rarely work out (wich is too bad). ^___^" The most important part in a relationship.. Ergh.. Mutual understanding? And trust, I suppose... Yeoww.. Too late for me to use my brain... *crawls off* |

| TALKING IN BIG CAPITAL LETTERS. You can't get anywhere in a relationship without being able to communicate *so I've learned* so..... yah. Be careful what you say, also. It could help in later days, I guess. |

i'll do a top 3
1. Love - i'm talking true love; you need to make sure that it's real love and not just a temporary attraction
2. Respect/Honesty - if you aren't honest with them, then you obviously don't respect them either. both are important
3. Understanding - you need to know the pains and pleasures they have been through; thier likes and dislikes, high and low points; thier past, as well as thier future. you need to be part of them, as they should with you. (it doesn't mean just spend a lot of time with them either...) |

| For me one of the most important things is trust.... even though you may love the person.... you must first have the significant other be trust worthy. |

| Honesty and trust are key to the relationship. Love is important too, but true love can't be obtained without these two. |

| I believe that it's really hard to pinpoint waht is really that important in a relationship.. People do with just trust, other's have to have love, some are in it for the money.. I guess the key to any relationship is mutual acceptance. no matter how much you can trust someone, love someone, be able to communicate with someone, there's always got to be this mutal acceptance, I guess compatibility. with out that, there's really no chance in a long lasting relationship. or a health one at least. |
