no. ICQ was bought by AOL. it's obsolete. I also use trillion, BTW

First off in reference to this quote, no it's not. Second, no, I wouldn't by a lousy book on ICQ. I will stick to my multitasking IM abilites. Lol. I am too lasy to download Trillion to my laptop.

well. i see why this book is a 'bad' idea. ICQ has lots of differant options. for n00bs. But i would not use this because ICQ uses up too much virtual ram. bad for the computer

And besides for that ICQ is about the easiest chat application to flood and/or hack/spy. I don't know about you but I would rather use MSNIM any day.

MSN is very easy to hack. and very easy to recieve virus files through. I use it tho' but i am carefull with it. (so should u be)

I agree but ICQ is more vulnerable. Like I said, I will stick with MSN any day over ICQ.

yeah. ICQ is easier to hack into. (i have done it before) but they are bringing out many new beta versions which are improving the program making it harder to hack.
I got fu**** with icq once. got me banned from like 5 forums. some1 hacked into my account and told everyone that they were assholes and shit. Thats why i havnt used it in a long time

Man, that sucks. Did you ever try to explain yourself? I would be pessed. Yeah, there is some sortof talk of AOL and ICQ coming becoming affiliates. Sounds odd but it might be a reality.

nah. I didnt want to get into conflict with ICQ. they would ask me why i would think this. who do i think it could be, what is your p/w your name your e-mail. God it stoo much hassle, my friend went though it b4.
Plus i wouldnt want that account again. I got back into most boards, since i was good friends with the admin[s]
I will wait till everything is final with icq b4 i use it again. they are still bringing out beta verison of icq. I dont like beta :-/
