This might just be me but I'm very disappointed in the fact that no one responds or gives support in the art section of this forum...I post stuff and i get like 3 responses and thats it...if I'm lucky...anyone else think this too.
Well, I used to think that about the FANFIC section too, but do you want some addvice? A lot of people go to the playground here, so if you want to draw attention to your work, go to one of the many spam threads there, and say things like READ MY FANFIC, or in your case, HEY EVERYBODY CHECK OUT MY ART, it's under such and such a name at such and such a place. Just keep pestering people and they will look. And then they will post as well. Trust me, if you're persistent it works. I've got several regular readers now from doing just that.
And by the way, EVERYBODY READ MY FANFIC! In the fanfic section, the one that's begging for money... and plus, it's my tread... That gives it away too...

uuuummm well not really people may just think your desperate ...... which i think you maybe (btw still reading your fanfics)
Desperate or not, when you tell people that they should do something enough times, eventually they start to wonder what it is you're talking about, and eventually, they'll try it. Of course, beond that, it's all up to the quality of the work you're advertising, but half the battle is getting people to plop down and take a look in the first place.
Not all members have the same interest in Art.. maybe some of them don't even have interest as all..
For me, I'm not really into Poetry or Fan-fics so I never check them out..
it's almost like everyone else.. some may like looking at artworks while others prefer Poetry..
it only depends on what members interests are 
Maybe most members aint into art stuff *shrugs*
