You get attached to certain people around the forums; just as I did. No one really cared for me at first, but once I settled in and came out of my shell, people started to notice me a bit more. Friendship doesn't come for free, you have to earn it.
You can't really just say "sure I'll be your friend", there is a certain chemistry between people that creates an interesting friendship. I suggest you be patient and in time, you will find friends you can relate to.
