Alright...maby there is already another tread like this....put i still wanted to put this tread up...mod can close it if they like.....i want a serious discussion about the BS in here and some real oppinions of the members of FFR like what you think of the Battle system...and not saying a agree whit ****** ...but just honestly give an oppinion of your own...and i'll also include mine.
To be honest i think Afterlab did put a lot of time and hard work into the Battle System..i want to thank him for that....bu i got quit some downsides of the Battle System.
first i got some things which i don't agree with.....once you get higher in level...the leveling up sequence goes faster...well isn't it supposed to go the other way arround..like leveling up in the beginning goes faster than at high levels.......
Sometimes the amount of damage is just insane...i killed a lvl 23 Lancer with only one hit while i was at lvl 9....this can't be right...or is it just me...
The abilities you can learn arn't what you can say well balanced......and yes i know this is really hard.....i know....people arn't perfect.......but maby this can be helped if the BS goes dówn again to get bugs out of it...
- Cheating
Well i guess everybody knows the inn cheat by now and what i think is that is spoils all the fun in the BS and it was not created for that...member can fight on and on and lvl up as much as they want..and it also gets them RP mostly a lot of RP once at high levels...a lot of new members have joned lately for the battle system i think...and a lot of fake accounts may be set up....which was not supposed to be....well although.....there is an warning for cheating in anyway..i think there won't be much checkin on it..see the fact that a lot of members already have reached high levels........and yes me to uses the inn cheat for level up...but i must say it spoils the fun of it........and i think...the forums will get less attention cause of the battle system...and i think it won't take long before it's down again..
- Bug
While fighting in the BS i found an bug at least i think its an Bug....no its not about the in...its about the Flee command a thief/treasure hunter uses........if i use it...my opponent is killed no matter how stong he is... i still get the winning RP for it....and my MP drops to zero...but it is said only to conume 22 MP...well i think this can't be right....
This is my oppinion about the Battle System, i know afterlab worked hard for it but it just don't work the way it suppose to work..now it spoils al the fun.....and members are irritated about new members signing up only for the battle system.....
well if you don't agree just get it on and discuss it here.............................................. ......... |

Anyway what i feel bout the BS is theres no point to it, except it being fun  Id probably go on it from time to time, but not all day and night just to be the best (well probably BS would be worth going on when the Clan Wars are placed) |

| I did go on the battle system a lot for the first couple days. now i realize my hatred. it made the whole site inactive. (in my opinion) |

I agree with you Chocotje, the BS is consuming the forums...
I did use the Inn Bug, and so did nearly everyone else using the BS, but it does spoil the fun. i'm not very intrested in the BS anymore, but I still use it.....
Maybe alot more of the Bugs and errors were worked out, it would be alot more fun. Also, as Chocotje said, leveling up should be easier in the begining, and harder later on.... |

The battle system has killed this forum slowly but surely. Eventually, this place will be spawn for people with 0 post counts who are level 99.
If afterlab doesn't do something soon, this whole forum is going down the drain. I think the BS should be killed off, deleted or banished. It's a sin on message boards, and should never of been invented.
*shrugs*
But unfortunatley, my opinions are never the correct solution. People seem to think they are always right; but if they listen now and then. You might actually learn something. |

yeah it's good,I think the Inn time that you have to stay in to get full hp is a bit too much.
yep Soulstone is right too, it is killing the forum. and there are WAY too many people joining just for the BS.and the levels people are already is ridiculous. Neo Seifer and someone else are already Level 70+ nearly 80,people will have NO chance against them even in the boss battles. |
