Illness that ruin special occassins?

Had a special occassin that you wanted to enjoy only to find that you suffered an injury or a illness? What is it then?
Mine is now, start of christmas holidays and its ruined by the flu, hope it doesnt run onto Chrostmas day ..... or no christmas dinner

| On the Christmas where I was 9 I had chicken pox ~_~ and there was no place on me where I DIDN'T have chicken pox :/ nasty stuff... |

when i was 10 i had pneumonia for a long time but i didn't miss anything important aside from a month of school  like tlh i never had anything major on a holiday just little things |

I am sorry to hear that you've gotten an illness, and right around the holidays too. Sure it will probably be a diffrent Christmas, but try to have fun too.  Get well soon! |
