I apologize ahead of time if this has already been done before. If so, feel free to move to S7P.
Anywyas, if you had to put five things in a time capsule to represent the modern world to people in billions of years...what would you put and why?
Here are mine:
American History X (DVD)--- Not only does it display our sense of technology, but it gives the future people (gonna call em futuroids) a good idea of how racism has impacted society in general.
A Miniature Nuke--- Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to arm the futuroids and prepare them for mass destruction but simply to warn them of the raw power and evils of nuclear war.
A Newspaper from Sept. 11--- I'm not trying to get us all to reminisce. I just feel that a newspaper would give them a general sense of daily life AND inform them of the horrors of terrorism.
A McDonald's Cheeseburger--- Self-explanatory.
A Shirt from Abercrombie--- The shirt is to reveal how clothing makes a major difference in what someone's social status is and how important accessorizing has become in the modern age.
Anyways, that's about it. |
