V.2 VAMPIRE CHRONICLES
The Damned
right this is lifted from the first post of Vampire Chronicles wrote by Stewmac- these are the ground rules, anything below this is strictly for version two.

Greeting to all of you Anne Rice fans out there..
I am the immortal. Marius, the millenium child.. and I am gathering all vampires that have survived the great heat after OUR mother has burnt for us.. I have been through much.. and learnt much and I am one of the most powerful vampires to exist for I have drank her blood many times.. I was her Keeper...
I call to you of great importants .. and also out of my loneliness.. and now since my burden of keeping Those Who Must Be Kept is over.. I am searching for a companion.. and would like to rejoin some old friends...

Well this club is pretty obvious.. and I really won't put out any rules cause.. it's really pointless. except the no spamming part..
anyways if you want to join.. just post you character.. preferably a blood drinker's name, and I will add you to the list.. and we shall start when we have gathered a fair number..
Ok one thing.. If the name is taken.. you can't have it.. Unless you want to be Agent Smith, but he's not in these novels...
So post your character and a brief bio about yourself..and not in a servey manner.. please.. I'm hoping after we get started for a while.. we can turn this place into somewhat of a RPG... So please be serious when you join.. and please at least know a little of Anne Rice's books.. Ok you must have read at least one Book and not just see the movie to join...
Ok seems like it will turn into a RP club so... rules....eeek..:
1) when in character post in color except white.. and please try to keep one color..for it might be your signiture..
2) Blood giving: this is a very very sacred ritual.. please only let blood drinkers you love and deserve.. let drink your blood.. or this world will overflow with super powerful vampires.. and that's not too pretty when the ancients can't keep control..
3) This is something I thought of right now.. If you choose to come into our club as a human.. (mortal) you can.. and you if you feel ready and there is a willing vampire.. they can give you the immortal blood.. You will be a new character..
4) this really isn't a rule but.. I will list vampires in order of strength..
5) ancients are all booked character with at least 200 years of age.. and need to be farely strong.. I will not consider Louis or David or any other pfairly new but powerful vampires as ancients for they are not..
6) we will refer to members in this club according to their vampire names.. If you don't have one yet.. then your ffr.. but I'm hoping that we will get accustomed to our vampire names..

righto hopefully this club will take off again like it did last time around. The RP will be sort of picking up were it left off, i.e the initial story is still there. If anyone would like to join before I create the first story post please do it now and I will write you into my post. if anybody would a, like to be marius or lestat I would prefer if you would wait for a period of 5days until I contact the previous rpers to see if they would like to reprise the role. After that feel free to be them.
It would benifit anybody who would like to join the club to read through the previous posts in V1, this isn't compulsory, but it woulkd allow you to understand what is going on a little better and get comfortable about creating and fitting characteres into the story...if you would like to here is a link ... hm.. I would really like top join this club, and continue writing the story, but as you might have realized.. I have been inactive.. Due to work.. and a game called Lineage2..
I do visit ffrepublic from time to time, but not nearly enough read, and keep focus on a story.. (I also have the biggest writers block of all times.. not just writing .period, but peotry, music.. I've been lacking inspiration, and until get motivated to respark my imagination.. I don't think I can really do anything creative... |

well it would be wonderful if you would join again. you have to keep writing, or writers block is incurable. Sounds strange that but its true, I know that from experience..you write gibberish until something really sticks XD

well the spot will remain open for you and if you do decide not to join again, I'll write someone else into the story until then, I'll write around it.
I'm going to start advertising anyway. Its been a little dorment. |

I'd like to join,but i haven't read the novel.I've seen the movie,but i didn't join for that reason.I just love vampires.

well I wasn't too fussed about that rule anyway... do you have any intention to read them? I would urge you as they are truly quality books. Top dog lit. anywhom I would be happy if you would join, could you possibly read a bit of the RP so far in the link. you can be either a talamascan, a relative or simply just another human being getting caught up in this. A talamascan is a studier of the supernatural. Sophia my Character is a talamascan, and the vampires knew her father very well...she is seemingly under the vampires spell.. as she cant keep away. I'm going to write my first post soon to the RP to start the ball rolling again and I'll write you in. but until then how do you feel about it... post

right well here we go then I'm going to right you into the story so far...bare with me it may taker a few paragraphs.. I cant just shove both the immmortals out of my front door and make you ring the doorbell 
right.................erm no details on your character so I'll let you reveal some more in your post I hope you dont mind if I do some essentials like back history I can always edit my post later to fit in.

Sofia Sat listening to Lesstats Story, she wondered if he knew she had his writings, she tried not to think about them, but the words slipping out of his mouth, reminded her of the poetry in his writings, his voice was how she had immagined beautiful, elegant, gentle with a sharp hint of french...a trance inducing melody in the disguise of a soft lullaby. She sank into his eyes and against her will began to feel sleepy, her eyes closed and she felt cold air around her, a castle approached amongst black trees, the sound of dogs and horses thundering in her mind. She woke from her trance, startled. Marius brushed her face, Lestat was gone. "my dear, I dont think you were supposed to see whatever it was, you saw. I'm afdraid you have upset my tempermental Lestat, but it is of no concern, you are the first to do that, tell me what did you actually see?"
Sophia was alarmed, what the hell had just happened? his hands are so cold.. focus... "I...I... castle, what happened, what did you do to me, what?" she fell back and broke from his eyes, angry, upset and confused. "did you try to trick me, were you going to kill me?" Marius looked impatient and troubled by this "hush now child, I wont hurt you, he will not either, you saw a castle, my dear, you saw into his past, well... you almost set foot upon it. I've never known a mortal to do such things, to other mortals, yes, those crazed clairvoyants you seem quick to acknolege as fakes in the talamascan motherhouse...amusing that you can find me, but fail to seee supernatural activity under your very nose. I've never heard of Mortals seeing our kind before. I'm sorry to leave you with many questions, it was not the intention at the beginning of this meeting and I give you humble apologies. I must leave now, the sun will rise, and you look like you need some rest, think on this... I will contact you soon, dont look for me."
and with that he was gone. Sophia opened the wine on the table, and poured it into both glasses and drunk them both...her mind was buzzing as she drifted off to sleep.
the Birds were singing when Sophia awoke, not on the sofa, where she thought she had been sleeping, but in her bed, the sun shining harsley in all directions around the room, bouncing off the mirror onto her bed side table. she rubbed her eyes as an unusual blur came into her vision she gasped in shock as she saw the picture, it was a drawing of herself..sleeping, she picked up the note and the red rose next to it and opened it, her hands shaking 'dear girl, I am sorry for leaving in the middle of my story, if you have interest in how it unveils, you need only say my name and I will hear it throughout the world, your soft voice stands out in a planet ridden with pain and screaming. ta taa.' Sophia smelt the rose, it glistened like water had fell on it, she touched the petals and blood ran down her hand. Sophia rose to her feet and in a mixture of distress and fear ran to the bathroom and locked the door.
The Answerphone clicked on and she sat in fear
"Sophia Cole. Servus here, I know your there so I'll make this brief, you must be busy not to take the call. I need to meet you as soon as possible,
the immortal I've been tracking, its marks have been around this area, wanted to pick your brain for anything you know on the subject. ring me. |

| After I hung up the phone,I picked my book back up."I wonder why Marius and Lestat are bound and determined to get Sohpia.They want her present very much.Lestat is obsessed and Marius likes her company.Strange people they are," I say while shaking my head.I continue with my book trying to find the reason why Lestat doesn't try for more power... |
