Greeting to all of you Anne Rice fans out there..
I am the immortal. Marius, the millenium child.. and I am gathering all vampires that have survived the great heat after OUR mother has burnt for us.. I have been through much.. and learnt much and I am one of the most powerful vampires to exist for I have drank her blood many times.. I was her Keeper...
I call to you of great importants .. and also out of my loneliness.. and now since my burden of keeping Those Who Must Be Kept is over.. I am searching for a companion.. and would like to rejoin some old friends...

Well this club is pretty obvious.. and I really won't put out any rules cause.. it's really pointless. except the no spamming part..
anyways if you want to join.. just post you character.. preferably a blood drinker's name, and I will add you to the list.. and we shall start when we have gathered a fair number..
Ok one thing.. If the name is taken.. you can't have it.. Unless you want to be Agent Smith, but he's not in these novels...
So post your character and a brief bio about yourself..and not in a servey manner.. please.. I'm hoping after we get started for a while.. we can turn this place into somewhat of a RPG... So please be serious when you join.. and please at least know a little of Anne Rice's books.. Ok you must have read at least one Book and not just see the movie to join...
Ok seems like it will turn into a RP club so... rules....eeek..:
1) when in character post in color except white.. and please try to keep one color..for it might be your signiture..
2) Blood giving: this is a very very sacred ritual.. please only let blood drinkers you love and deserve.. let drink your blood.. or this world will overflow with super powerful vampires.. and that's not too pretty when the ancients can't keep control..
3) This is something I thought of right now.. If you choose to come into our club as a human.. (mortal) you can.. and you if you feel ready and there is a willing vampire.. they can give you the immortal blood.. You will be a new character..
4) this really isn't a rule but.. I will list vampires in order of strength..
5) ancients are all booked character with at least 200 years of age.. and need to be farely strong.. I will not consider Louis or David or any other pfairly new but powerful vampires as ancients for they are not..
6) we will refer to members in this club according to their vampire names.. If you don't have one yet.. then your ffr.. but I'm hoping that we will get accustomed to our vampire names..

Well I'm a huge fan, so I'll join...I wanna be Lestat, he is my fave...I've read up to Memnoch, which I'm currently reading in my free time...so I know quite a bit about the series.

I am the Immortal known as Lestat, I am known for many things, my brief career as a rockstar, my many novels, I own many buildings, oh and lets not forget that I was Akasha's "Angel" bringing death everywhere I went, I took such large amounts of her blood that I soon became an ancient, despite only being about 200, my skins is white like the old ones, I'm practically invincible, not even direct sunlight could destroy me in the Gobi desert. I spent much of my youth as an immortal seeking answers to why we were here, how we came into being to begin with, thats when Marius found me and taught me the legends of our immortal race, I later learned the truth from ancient Maharet, one of the twins...I'm not so sure I like what I know now though. I don't follow the rules set up by the others, and I am in fact among the most powerful vampires alive.

welcome lestat.. my I've been waiting for your arrival. and am glad you were the first to show.. You are strong, one of the strongest for you are bountiful with the queen's blood.. but not yet an ancient.. Ancient refers to time.. and you've barely passed 400 years..
But for now we shall wait.. wait until others arrive for they shall.. and again I am glad you've showed first..
yeah.. You seemed to have read alot.. I've read everything up to about half way through "Blood and Gold" which is a book on Marius... I love this book and the one you just read.. "Memnoch the Devil".. Lestat though I believe was made somewhere around the 1600 hundreds though.. The 1800's was Louis's time if I'm correct..
anyways.. I think we should make this a semi-role playing club.. so post in color when you are in character and when you want to drift back to our reality.. preferably white will be the color.. so we can seperate the text easier..
Anyways the "Ancient" and just "Vampire" does not matter in this club really.. It's just I guess a timeline.. and it's not seperating leaders from regular members.. I'm trying to do away with the club leader thing.. cause I think it takes away some of the fun.. hopefully when more members come we'll have a full blown role Play going but until then it's just like old times.. just you and me...well and also Those Who Must Be Kept.. but they are gone now.. |

Thanks for letting me join!! But I dont know really know wabout which character I should be. Preferably female (expertise at that gender lol) but I dont know which one is really similiar at all to my personality... any ideas?

to clarify I haven't finished Memnoch, and Body Theif was awesome, how far are you into it? Maybe while we aren't RPing we could discuss the books, up to the lowest one read, like now it would be Body Theif.
Stewmac, I never listed a year, but as far as I've read I think Lestat is only 200+ but you've read further and you would know |

as for Andii since she rocks.. how about Jessi.. If you saw "Vampire Lestat" the movie and the book.. though Jessi's characters is very different in the two... she's fairly young.. and she LOVES lestat... she loves rock.. and I think her youthfulness draws her to inspiration and she is the great great niece of Maharat, as you should know is the supposidly mute twin.. but she talks in the Movie.. which is messed up...
well anyways if you are interested in Jessi.. reasearch a little, and do a short bio if you like.. and in character..

My Name Is Sophia Cole. I have lived all over the world, studying all forms of the occult, my uncle Aaaron, also studies alongisde me. He got me involved in the talamasca... which after much debate I left about 4 years ago to pursue the world on my own, I am a free spirit. I do not wished to be told the ways of the world be snobby Londoners, my uncle included. I lived briefly in new orleans... after I had aquired information of the famous 'brat prince'....Iset out to trace him down, for I knew he still lived..he lived under different alias's. I visited his old home and delved where my predeassessor Jessie had not.. Iventured into Lestats study, and a marking on the floor at the foot of the old desk...was a sybol to represent the mark of the vampire... I kicked the floor board in and inside I found an array of songs and poetry... very unlike the 'brat prince' hide his work as I had learned that this Vampire was a very proud and sometimes arrogant creature. I held these papers dear, I haave re-read them many times and now aim to find the purpose of these poems and notes...
