You know I think the FFR clock is a half hour too fast.
OR, maybe its not fast, maybe MY clock is wrong! But wait a minute, the channel four news says my clock is right, maybe the TV is wrong! OR the whole of England is wrong!!
How do we know?
HOW DO WE KNOW????

Time is just something that allows humans to organize their days. And yes it is a known fact that the FFR Clock is nearly 20 minutes fast.
Time is something that's really hard to define. It's just something we all take for granted. |

| Well I know your human because your questioning long standing "common" aspects of the modern world. |

| I thought a Terran was a Human, at least that's how it is in every sci fi series and franchise to use the word. How do you keep time on an international website anyway? Or are we referring to the specified clocks. If it's well known why don't you fix it? |

vBulletin is the time is determined by the server it's hosted on.
Too long for me to go into detail about but I'm sure if you ask afterlab nicely he'd explain it for you. |

| Thinking over theortical stuff is often a waste of time. Time is time, and that is that. It's a concept that is used to help you manage your day and life in an efficent manner. It helps you know how many hours of light are left to do work, and how long before the sun comes up for you to sleep. There is really no use thinking about it, unless your a physist working on some sort of time manipulation. |

| The way I see it, time isn't some abstract idea that's impossible for human grasp, and it's not just a measurement. The unit of seconds are a measurement, but the word time is very basic, and really can't be broken down any furthur. I believe it's the passing of any sort of unit non determinate of pysical properties, used to describe the difference between one action or event and another. The thing is, meters are a measurement, but that doesn't mean length is a human invetion. Things have length, therefore, length must exist. Things take time to move, therefore, time must exist. |

Time can be difficult to comprehend however, especially when it comes to time travelling. There are countless questions out there about what will happen when one goes back in time, so many paradoxes are available.
While it is unlikely that time travel will become available anytime soon (or at all), it does bring up some interesting debates. |

| Think about this, if reverse time travel existed, wouldn't someone have already travelled to our time or before in a time machine? The only way I can see time travel existing is if someone were to travel at the speed of light, which is needless to say, many lifetimes from being developed. Sceintists have theorized that time travel could exist between two dimensions or distant galaxies through the use of a wormhole, which is as of now, impossible to predict or stabalize. When you get down to galactic travel and the use of worm holes and the speed of light, you come to precise quantum physics and equations, that have not yet been created, and are so complex and full of factors and variables, will probobly never be perfected by human minds. I believe time travel is possible by the laws of nature, but is a very complicated and technologically advanced and aided, that humanity will destroy itself before it is invented or really even pioneered. |
