[ADVICE] Small Crisis

It's very strange to find myself asking for advice in my own forum, but if I cannot find the questions myself you should ask others. Here is the situation, and please no rude comments..
As most of you already probably know, if you've ever seen me try to deal with situations concerning stress I become stressed myself. I am also not the nicest person in town, hence my return label of the "Dark Odin". Based on what you do know, how do you think I could be a better moderator? I will listen to what anyone has to say. Because I would like to change for the better. |

Oh, your so dark and "legendary".  I find that funny...
Well, I need to do this to, but when things happen, think them through...don't be so quick to react, and judge others. I thought I overcame that, but some of it came back last night. But if you think through your decisions, I think that will make you a better moderator. |

| Kind of...I don't want to be a hypocrite here, cause last night I did the same thing, but I noticed you were to quick to react to Black Dragoon's posts, and like I and a few others said, it made you look childish. (even though we know you aren't) But like threads proposing a banning for BD when he doesn't care if he gets banned anyways kind of makes you look bad. If he deserves a banning, Rei or Eric will most likely take care of it. I hope that came out right. =/ |

| Not just that...ugh, nevermind. Your to stubborn, and if I try to give me advice you try to act like you don't understand - when I know you do. If you think I'm being a critic I'm not, but I'll let other members reply. |

| Well, you weren't exactly an ass hole yesterday on AIM...you seemed pretty nice. So I'm not sure...I wouldn't classify myself a "nice guy" either, so I can't really help you on that. |

You could become a better moderator by involving yourself in the community and to stop trying so hard to be a moderator. The downfall of most staff members is that they get too wrapped up in being staff and forget that they are actually members doing a service for members. Sure, staff members have more power than ordinary members do, but we are all the same originally. We all start out members and prove ourselves worthy of staff. To truly be a better moderator, you've got to be a good member too.
