Is time travel realistic or purely science fiction..? Einstein was on a breakthrough with his laws of relativity, and even now in modern times. A scientist named Stephen Hawking is probing the depths of science to uncover the secrets that lie beneath. Suppose it did exist for a moment, would it really be worth it? Considering the consequences of changing history?

I think if it develops in the future, they should leave history as it is. The whole thing kinda...freaks me out...

I hope they nver find out how to do it safely...

people shouldn't go back in time they could mess up back then and affect the future/present.

Time Travel, in most senses, isn't even possible, but it's also hardly comprehendable. So on a comepletly honest basis, 90% of the population couldn't begin to understand it enough to make a valid point on it's use.

Ahh yes... time travel. It is a difficult concept to understand... and many paradoxes and scenarios are possible with it. In the Riddle Thread, I was talking about this, how different time independencies could change how history differs.

Yes, if the simple possibility of it being created were possible then history in the past would instantaneously change. You would be surpised about how Temporal Theory and Causuality work...it can really be creepy.

I get the idea travel into the past is impossible, mostly because there is a good chance traveling into the past would change memories. As for into the future, it has been to a furthur extent discussed and theorized by use of wormholes and traveling at the speed of light, but as for either of those methods, I doubt any of us will live to see them even attempted.

If you actually think as hard as you can you would notice that traveling back in time would really screw something up. You would not be able to change anything cause when you go back in time your changing the future of the timeline thingy that you went back to instead of changing the origonal therefore doing absolutely no good. The future. If we can travel into the future, well we have proof that there is such a thing as fate. If we were able to travel into the future that would mean there is a parallel universo or something that is ahead of us and the future us sealing our fate. BUT. If this future does not already exist, then neither does fate and we are doing it the way we want, but how can you travel into nothing? You cant go into the future if its not there can you?
wowzerz... my brain hurts..
