Yes yes this has been in my mnd for quite some time but nobody wants to talk about it...especially online...I remember back in the day when you go online and everybody is cool and you'd jes have fun...this was way back when Internet was first introduced....But over the times people have found new ways to do crimes and they did...Attacking Children online.."For Fun" as I heard some say..I believe this Kind of Crime is an all time low!...its really sick if you think about it...Older Men/Women around 20-30 maybe even 40 tricking lil children about 7-14 years old to tell them they're locations...and then they either molest or kill them..I'm sorry for bringin this up....its that its been in my head for the longest time.. and i wanted to say 2 things....
1.Don't tell anyone online your personal info..Even if it seems like you can trust them...
2.And i wanted to see what all of you had to say about this...

****, I've never been stalked...and if anyone tries they'll regret it. If I ever go and "meet" somebody I know online, I'll always pack heat...slip the 9 in my pocket.

And plus, I don't trust anybody I know online enough to give out personal information like that.

I give out personal info like my name, age, race etc. I only give a rough indication of where I live too (i.e. Scotland xD) so I'm alright...I think O.O

Heh i feel safe enough to do that cause i got about 3 swords...each sharp as a razor and imported from japan...i got some pocket knifes..switch blades and my dad has got a shotgun in the safe in the upstairs closet.... so i hope no one tries somtin with me

My only advice in protecting yourself against such things, is staying out of the wrong crowd. If someone talks to you, and it starts making you feel uncomfortable. Then something is obviously wrong, you should tell a close friend if you are not sure. But never give out your name or address to someone, that's mot only blatently stupid it's also very dangerous. Stay safe while you are online kiddies, people are not always who they appear to be. Then again some people are...but nobody can really tell.

I agree with Dark Odin. However I've never experienced the darker sides of the Net... I know they're out there, I just steer clear of them. That's my policy.

I tell people my name because at the moment it would be very hard to ever track my exact position anyway ;D I am either in Japan, America or Scotland and I'm going through a name change It would be extremely hard to catch me now! *laughs evilly*
