well there's obvious benefits, multiple wives, WAYHAY.
but the whole point of marriage i thought was to like join two people in a bond of love, like a plural marriage is totally going against the basic point really, there's no commitment or fidelity really, it just seems rather fickle, but can you imagine the honeymoon?!! bloody hell, unless they were all minging.....but you know marriage isn't just about sex really so i guess that's besides the point |

| Polygomy is involved in many religions, for example mormonism. In my opinion this practice is wrong, but in some cases for example ensuring the survial of mankind, i suppose it would be alright. When i get married it will be to one, this one person will be the one i love and be bonded by love. |

They stopped practicing that awhile back.
I think it's a waste really, what if you met someone and you really liked him/her, only you was with some girl you've never met before? Surely the people should be allowed to choose their own partner based on compatability and how well they work with one another. |

I have no problem with it. Supposedly, human Males have an inate fault of a lack of monogomy, so why not just give in and get as much poontang as you can before you die.
Maybe one of your wives listens better than the others, and can console you, maybe another has a lucious rump, mmmm, it all depends.
My friend once told me that we all wish for so much during life that when we finally get old enough to realize the crap doesn't just appear, we develop the same feeling towards love. We've bet on it so much in the past we just believe in it, although no one has a real definition, or proof of it's existance, and maybe more people realize that and just marry whoever. |
