The Loss of my Good Friend

Today at school, my girlfriend had told me, that one of my good friends had comitted suicide on Friday night. At first, I thought it was a joke. It couldn't be true. It wasn't until many people confirmed it, that I was shocked.
Jordana (Dani) Flemming, was a very close friend of mine. We had never gone out, but there had always been something between us. We weren't SUPER-CLOSE, but we did hang out a lot, and when we did, we had a lot of fun. Dani was typically what most people would deem a "goth" or a "freak." She had a very unique exterior. Deep down she was a very warm and kindhearted person She always made people laugh, whether it was good or bad, she always had fun with people, and it was always a joy hanging out with her.
The best answer I can think of; of why she would do something like this, is because of the torment she received. I feel guilty. Not for insulting her, I never did. But for not realising what she was going through, and how to stop it. She had transferred from another school, because of the same torment from students. And because students can't learn to like what they don't understand, they go to their last alternative. Please, if you see this type of torment at your school, PLEASE put a stop to it. Bullying should not be tolerated anywhere. Especially if it leads to causes like this. To think, that the pain of being alive to a person, is stronger than to take his or her life. People should not have to die so young. This is very horrible and tragic event, and I hope you all can share some thoughts or feelings on the situation.
Dani was a very good friend to all, and she will be missed in all our hearts.
She died at the age of 14.

When I first heard thee typed of threadsm I felt bad for the person, but now I know I should have felt worse. I will never se her again. She sat beside me in Socials class. We always had fun doing assignments.............................I don't have anything more to say, other than that I know cannot bring her back. but I will do my best to make sure this never happens to a loved one ever again. I hope you will do the same. She will be forever in my heart.

| Yo foxfire i am very sorry about your friend sadley dieing i mean i sometimes get tormented at school but i ignore it so if there is anything i can do to help that is helpful for you and dani over FFR than please contact me. |

SORRY TO HEAR THAT FOX I KNOW WHAT YOU FEEL LIKE ONE OF MY MATES JUMPED OF THE BACK OF A BUS AND HE GOT KILLED BY THE CAR THAT WAS BEHIND THE BUS HIT HIMA DN HE FLEW 100 FEET AWAY AND THE DRIVER JUST DROVE ON AND THEY DID NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT STOPPING THE CAR OR NOTHING....

Well what could you have possibly done to prevent this girl from committing suicide? She had obviously already thought it out and decided it was the right choice. I respect people's choice to end their lives, I mean if they are constantly in pain on this Earth then it's possible the after life is a better place for them. Sorry to hear about your loss Foxfire, hopefully a lesson can be learned from this.

Ronin, I suggest your edit your post with either or an insightful comment or at least something less inappropriate. It's obvious that Foxfire's crushed by the death of his friend and all you can do is mock the situation with an insulting two-word post. Reason #237 I want to be mod of this forum.
Anyways, Foxfire, if you ever need to talk, my AIM name is Phyxius27 and I should be free anytime. I've dealt with incidents of suicide before and tend to be the wall my friends lean on so I'm sure I would have no problem helping you recover. |
