Kaeria pulled herself up onto the side of her boat, flinging her sai to the side and still clutching the silver pendant in her right hand. Silver made a lot of money if you happened to come across a human, and she knew just enough of the 'old tongue' to barter a good price with them. Her grandmother had taught her as much of the old tongue as she could whilst she was still alive. She had taught Kaeria how to move among the human race unnoticed, seeming as one of their own.

She hung the pendant on the wall along with a few others before reaching for the small looking glass she owned. She held it out in front of her and studied the marks the hunter had left on her neck. Five tiny puncture marks spread across her neck and nuderneath them were some very nasty looking purple rings. The creature had really held her neck tight, the bruising had almost completely set in.

She replaced the cracked looking glass and moved to the back of the boat and begun to pull the net she had made out from the water. As she hauled it over the side and onto the deck, two tiny grey fish flopped and wriggled across the wooden planks. Kaeria sighd loudly to herself, fish around the coast were becomeing more scarce these days and she had too much sense to sail her boat single handedly out into the open sea, she could easily fall prey to an enemy clan.

That left her only one choice, she would have to travel inland again in search of fresh water fish. She groaned a little to herself, the last thing she wanted was to stumble into Hunter territory whilst in search. Despite her dread she quickly scaed the small mast in the centre of her boat and loosened the ropes which held them back, she climbed back down smoothly and pulled her anchor up out of the water. The wind immiediately caught and bellied in the sails, dragging her further west around the coast of the island.
