oh come one, a little strategy is all is involved, I'll break this up into 4 stages, preparation, and then her three transformations:
Stage 1:
-Make sure you are in the posession of armor with zombie ward with at least three of your characters and preferably at least one person (who you know you will have in your party most of the time e.g. Auron or Yuna) with sensor.
-Buy 99 holy waters, if you haven't levellled up much then you'll need em.
-Make sure you have steal with rikku
-Max out all your aeons overdrives before battle.
-Put Rikku, Auron, and Yuna in your party and get started:
Stage 2:
-Steal from Yunalesca until you get at least one stamina tablet
-Use all of Aurons Break attacks (or just full break if u have it)
-Yunalesca will counter with blind on auron, so use yuna to either give him eye drops or esuna so he can attack next round. Also, cast shell on Auron AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
-You can only use the stamina tablet via rikku's special>use option, so do it and give it to Auron. A stamina tablet will double Aurons maxHP for the fight, but if he's KO'd it will go back to normal (in which case you can steal another one)
-Now give Auron an X-Potion
-For the remainder of this stage, use yuna and another powerfull character to help Auron kill it with physical attacks. Adapt your strategy around Auron, he's the priority, make sure he's connecting and it'll be over soon.
SAVE YOUR OVERDRIVES FOR LATER
Stage 3:
-Ok now here's the interesting part, this is my own wacked out strategy but here goes.
-Keep Auron and Yuna in your party, and keep them human, not zombie.
-in the other character space, cycle your characters around so every other character apart from yuna and auron turn into zombies(you'll understand why I do this in stage 4)
-If the other character is in dire need of healing, make sure either yuna or Auron are zombies before you even think about making that other character human and healing him.
-Keep hacking away at her with Auron and another powerful character. MAKE SURE THERE IS AT LEAST ONE CHARACTER IN YOUR FIGHTING PARTY WHO IS A ZOMBIE!
Stage 4:
-at the beginning of this round, yunalesca will kill anyone who is not already dead, i.e. her death attack will miss the undead, so whoever it is in your party that is a zombie will survive. Get this person to use a mega phoenix, and then sorth things out form there as you will.
-At any one point make sure at least one person in your fighting party is a zombie, if you find ur self in a situation where they're all human, swap in someone who is still a zombie (this is why you need to make everyone a zombie beforehand)
-Pull out all your aeons and overdrives now and smack this ***** down.
-Let Auron smack her up a bit to finish her off
after the fight you get the airship, ask me for secret locations and stuff later, I've found so much!
