[OOC: heh, I'm not sure what the orbs and that are about there ...I'm a little confused by your post, but here goes...If this is a trainer initiation, does that mean I'm a trainer now Crowley? o_O shouldn't you do these things yourself? LAZY BASTARD ]
"Be you friend or foe, show yourself..!!"
The man's words echoed up through the trees where Drakinia was racing through the branches.
Drakinia pivotted on one foot as he met his last branch and began his descent, as the soles of his feet scraped away the barkand he shifted his weight off the tree into the air to begin his graceful drop Drakinia thought about the man's words
he exudes an air of confidence and carries himself with dignity, this man appears to be a true warrior..I expect a good fight from him
and with that he dropped through the air, drafts of air cathing the cape and animal hides and lifting them up around Drakinia, it parted his hair and threw it back and then he landed on the floor, his right leg bent as he landed, the blades of grass trampled under his feet, a slight chlorine odour wafted up to his powerful nose. Drakinia's left leg bent to the ground, his foot resting out behind him. He landed in a bow like pose, and then slowly stood up as his opponent turned and faced him, Drakinia's animal hides, cloak and hair settles back into their usual position as he rose and met the mysrerious man's gaze.
"I am neither friend or foe, just a hunter stalking his prey, but I don't object to the occaisional fight, in fact I relish the challenge of it all and you look like a fitting challenge for one such as I"
Drakinia answered his foe, as he tried to size up his opponent.
He was older than Drakinia, in his early thirties by his estimations, the man's eyes carried a glint of experience, like a man that had seen much battle.Black garments covered his body, he was a very dark character, like a shadow that would emerge from the darkness to attack his victims...Drakinia noted the boots and gauntlets the man wore, the gauntlets were made of some kind of metal, he couldn't be sure what it was but it looked well made, possibly strong enough to stop his mighty broadsword but Drakinia doubted it. His boots and Gauntlets were enveloped in rows of hard dragon scales, the harsh dry flakes of serpent skin overlapped along these protective items of clothing, Drakinia had fought dragons before, out on many hunts he'd had to slay them and they were always tough bastards, some had thinner, less dense skin that his broadsword could penetrate easily, but some were a lot tougher and took a lot of wearing down before his sword could cut through..Drakinia was not sure what kind these scales were, there was still many creatures of the world he hadn't hunted yet, but he made sure to note the scales on the boots and gauntlets, they could be more protective than the boots and gauntlets themselves...He had his sliver hair tied back, the ponytail swayed gently in the wind as various bits of foliage caught on updrafts drifted by.
The man was in a state of readiness, Drakinia could tell, by the way he'd put himself into a stance that would allow for quick moevment
"Seeing as you look so prepared..so eager for a fight, then I'll give you just what you desire"
Drakinia called out to him, he paused for a second, he wanted to know the man had heard him. This wasn't a hunt, this was a fight, a duel, it involved honour, a trait of man Drakinia had begun to enjoy since he rejoined civilisation after his long time out alone, he would not strike his opponent down if he wasn't aware of what's going on..
that's long enough, he knows what's going on..so let's 'ave it!
Drakinia brought his sword up holding it close to his right hand side at chest height and launched himself at his opponent, about 5 foot before he reached him Drakinia dug his feet into the ground and put himself into a slide, going along his left leg and the side of his right boot, the ground slowed him down dramatically like this as he plowed up the earth, kicking grass and dust up all around, he reached his opponent and shifted his weight to the left, bringing his right arm along with his sword over to the left, attempting to cleave through the man's stomach and end the fght quickly. Drakinia didn't expect to be quite so lucky though, he planned to use the momentum from his weight shift and sword swipe to dive to the left in a roll..
This man will not go down as easily as that, I've got to keep my guard up
Drakinia allowed himself a smile as his blade carved it's way through the air, distorting the path of the wind making all the leaves in the air nearby flutter into different directions, the light that pentrated the thick leafy canopy over head danced and shimmered over the dull and worn blade, as it headed towards it's target full of momentum, full of power.... |
