Do not join unless you can debate!
This club is not for idiots , morons , jackasses , and whatnots. I'm serious, this club is for heated discussion, and I don't need biased opinions without good reason and totally understandable opposition.
Here's the deal. The Club is for people to debate the hard discussion in which most members just aren't knowledgeable to understand or discuss. I have some topics, and I will have more. There is no ranks, just debate. I have some rules, however:
- There must be some reasons to why you support a statement.
- Do be clear, there shouldn't be any overly offensive words.
- If you're going to be an ass, don't participate. Being opinionated is one thing, acting like a moron is another.
The topics will be presented by me, and only me. If you have a suggestion, PM me, otherwise do be active. Also, when I present a topic, do state which side you are for in the first post in bold, and post in the color that is designated. Usually, it'll be blue and red. I will start the debates when the first six members join, I hope you'll enjoy it.
I do tend to participate, but that does not, in anyway bias my opinion. I will voice my opinion, but I won't put my opinions first. It will be judged on the tactics, reasons, and presentability of the posts.
There will be a time limit, thanks to Mjollnir's thoughts. It will be one week from the day I designate. You are to make opening statements with more than three sentences. Do make a formidable opponent.
The number of wins also determines your score. There will be a score, but only when I see that you are have completely defeated the combatant. On my opinion, I will give you a number of points, with a post ending the debate. I will explain what you did well, and what you didn't.
Also, this club will discuss some politics also, but only if I see some demand to do so.
