I find it really bothersome. An annoying habbit of mine is to highlight text, and sometimes I accidentally highlight the text on forums, and when they have that hack installed, it brings me to stuff I don't want to go to. I've heard this complaint by some of my friends too.
Plus, cheap DHTML effects look somewhat amateurish. |
