Dipped in a bath of honey
THick syrup, flowing lethargically, loss of energy
Whisperwinds soft spoken
Walk upon the grounds, tease the beings of the deep
It laps water, glistening appendages rise up tenatively, seeking a treat
Finding none, it receeds slowly, subdued
Only in exposure
Only in the venture of the unknown
Can one survive

She's sleeping
Peaceful brows unknitted
The unwound net of oppression given slack
Shhh
Rest, dearest
Upon the deep, warm seas of slumber she shall visit
Plunge deep
Breathe deep
Breathe well
Sleep well
