The exact same thing happened to me Blaze. I have a best friend named Clair. I met her in 9th grade in my Drama class. At first hated each other but then we became friends, then last best friends. I never conversed with any female more then I did with her. I understood her and she understood me and eventually I fell in love with her. I asked her out three times, the first time she said she liked me but she liked my best guy friend instead, 2nd time she said she wasn't ready, 3rd time she said she was ready but left me for a freshmen and that was junior year. I'm still best friends with her though...Even though I have a gf now, a part of her still remains in my heart.
Back to the point, Blaze imo falling in love with a best friend was one of the things that changed my life, soul and personality forever. I'm not going to lie though there were sometimes when I felt torn as she rejected me but I just sucked it up and carried on. I see it as a very meaningful and important relationship. I just hope in your case that your best friend likes you as much as you like her. Tresure her Blaze...  good luck man. |
